"A Guide to Computer Connectivity and Online Services in the Baltimore Area"

The premiere issue of Baltimore Bitstream magazine is scheduled to hit the
streets in mid-February, 1994. The magazine will cover a variety of subjects
including: computer communications, modem technology, networked electronic
mail services, public access online systems, free and pay service private
Bulletin Board Systems (BBS's), and other related products, services, and
technologies. The main focus of the magazine will be to provide a place for
the Baltimore online community to share ideas, concerns and services, and to
provide information to novice users on how to participate in the growing
online community in the Baltimore area. An integral part of Baltimore
Bitstream Magazine will be the inclusion of Blase's Baltimore BBS List in
each issue. Baltimore Bitstream Magazine will be a quarterly publication
unless demand will support a monthly distribution.

At this point, we are looking for qualified individuals to write articles and
provide product/service reviews for upcoming issues of Baltimore Bitstream.
If you have two or more years of experience in computers or electronic
information services, we would like to hear from you. We need: correspondants
to cover local BBS news and activities, reviewers to cover new products and
services, and several advertising representatives. All work (at this point)
will be freelance and all contributions will be compensated for in the form
of commission or donations. Since we are just getting started, you can
expect (at first) to get mostly public exposure and recognition, and not
substantial financial compensation.

We are actively seeking out potential advertisers at this time. We are
offering substantial discounts to Sysops who would like to advertise their
BBS in Baltimore Bitstream. We would like to solicit advertising space to
all the local computer dealers and consultants in the Baltimore area, plus
any other related businesses that might like to advertise. If you would like
to assist us in finding potential advertisers, we will pay straight
commission on all paid advertisements gained through from your efforts.
YOU MUST CONTACT US FIRST IN ORDER TO BECOME AN APPROVED AD SALESPERSON -
we will NOT pay commission on advertisements sold from unapproved
salespersons. Sysops should contact us directly for discounted advertising
rates and information.

If you would like to participate in this venture (Baltimore Bitstream
Magazine), please contact us via our voice phone number, or leave a message
on our BBS (Silver Streak BBS). Information is provided below. A
promotional information flyer can be mailed to you upon request. Please
contact us at the address/phone numbers listed below.
